Popular Western Pennsylvania & Eastern Ohio Car Show Events
The Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio regions have thousands of car show and car cruise community events. They are a great way for enthusiasts to get together and support the cause. Below is a short list of annual events (one for each month) that have been growing for decades. Pittsburgh Vehicle PPI is a proud supporter of these events and we hope to see you there.
PA Maple Festival Car Show (Meyersdale, PA) Sunday May 2nd, 2021 (10am to 4pm)
Located in the old coal town of Meyersdale in the heart of Somerset County, the 74th Annual Pennsylvania Maple Festival is having its 59th Annual Antique Auto Show and 38th Annual Classic & Street Rod Show. This is a spring event that many look forward to as they pull there cars out of winter hibernation. There is live entertainment, food, exhibits, and more. Stan Hywet Father’s Day Car Show (Akron, OH) Sunday June 20, 2021 (9am to 3pm)
Located at the Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, the 64th Annual Father’s Day Show is hosted by the Ohio Region Classic Car Club of America. The event focuses on quality and displays approximately 400 classic, antique, and collector cars on the lawns of the estate which provides a nice backdrop. Vintage Grand Prix Car Show (Pittsburgh, PA) Sat & Sun, July 24 & 25, 2021 (9am to 4pm)
Located in Schenley Park, the 39th Annual Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is America’s largest vintage auto racing event and the only one run on public streets. The 10-day celebration of events is run by more than 1000 volunteers to benefit the Autism Society and the Allegheny Valley School. The International Car Show takes place on the Bob O’Conner Golf Course surrounding the races through Schenley Park. This is a non-judged show where the fairways are lined with thousands of cars organized by country and manufacturer. Visit the PVGP website for more info.
Hot Summer Nights Car Cruise (Beaver, PA) Saturday August 7, 2021 (10am to 8pm)
Located in revitalized Downtown Beaver, the 35th Annual Hot Summer Nights is the Super Bowl of car cruises in tri-state region. It is nationally recognized as one of the Top-10 Car Cruises in the eastern half of the United States with 4000 cars and 40,000 people attending. Back to the 50’s Weekend (New Castle, PA) Fri/Sat/Sun September 3/4/5, 2021 (9am to 5pm)
Located in historic Cascade Park, the 35th Annual Back to the 50’s Weekend has returned! This traditional three day event features vintage and special interest vehicles displayed throughout the park. Entertainment includes seven live bands performing all weekend, a DJ, and food vendors. All proceeds benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. Visit the Back to the 50’s Weekend website for more info.
Applefest Car Show (Franklin, PA) Sunday October 3, 2021 (9am to 5pm)
Located in Victorian downtown Franklin, PA, the 39th Annual Applefest Car Show is a great season ending finale. The cars fill the streets and 300 arts & crafts vendors fill the park. Approximately 50,000 people attend this festival that features a giant arts and crafts fair, a beer fest, wagon rides, kids korner, farmers market, live entertainment and plenty of food.
